Who needs to take it?

Required: Cambridge, Oxford, Durham
Considered for reduced offers: Warwick, Bath, Southampton, Sheffield, Lancaster and more

Check each uni's website — requirements vary by course.

When and where?

When: October of Year 13, before interviews.
Where: At your school or college — they set it up like any exam.
Register: Tell your exams officer in September. They sort the rest.

What about the MAT?

The MAT (Mathematics Admissions Test) was discontinued after 2023. Oxford now uses TMUA instead for 2024 entry onwards.
